Captain of Irish Blind Go

It was confirmed in 2021 that Paddy Morgan would be IBG Captain for 2022 and 2023. It was a huge honour as I have been a member of IBG since 2013. 2022 has been a successful year for me as Captain. Captaincy has improved my communication skills especially when it comes to talking and presenting prizes after outings.

My telephone skills have also changed for the better as I am in charge of booking golf clubs. I am always looking to improve my confidence and I feel that I did a good job of that when it came to organising my 2022 Captain's Day at Castleknock Golf Club. I also have a role on the IBG Committee as Captain and I feel my opinions have brought something different to the table. I played a huge part in tee box sponsorship at IBG Classic in 2022 at Beechpark Golf Club.

I have really enjoyed my first year as Captain and looking forward to my 2nd year in 2023.
