My preview for this weekend’s Premier League games.

Leicester vs Crystal Palace

The Foxes host The Eagles in the early game on Saturday 15th October 2022. Brendan Rodgers is under severe pressure as Leicester have only won one game this season. Leicester went one nil up in their last game but went on to lose 2-1 against AFC Bournemouth. Crystal Palace have been very attacking with their line ups as Oumar Doucoure is the only defensive player in the midfield. Palace love to play on the counter attack and this could potentially cause problems for Leicester’s defence. Score prediction 1-2

Fulham vs AFC Bournemouth

Fulham have conceded seven goals in their last two Premier League games against both Newcastle United and West Ham United. Fulham have been good this season at home which includes drawing 2-2 against Liverpool on the opening weekend. Since Scott Parker was sacked Bournemouth have improved thanks to Gary O’ Neill. O’ Neill has been unbeaten while in charge with two wins and draws. Score prediction 1-1

Wolves vs Nottingham Forest

It has been a couple of weeks to forget for the home side after losing three nil to both Manchester City and Chelsea. Wolves have also lost the services of Bruno Lage as manger. Wolves bought former Chelsea striker Diego Costa on a one-year deal. With Wolves struggling this game could be a good opportunity for Nottingham Forest. Steve Cooper has recently agreed a new deal with Forest and they got a positive result in their last game against Aston Villa on Monday evening. Score prediction 0-0

Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton

Spurs are looking to win their third game in a week against The Toffees. Harry Kane is still their talisman with scoring in both their last Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League. Everton played well in their last game but couldn’t score a deserved equaliser against Manchester United. Everton will set up to play on the counter attack and this could be match were Dominic Calwert-Lewin returns to the starting 11. Score prediction 3-1

I enjoyed last weekend’s Premier League games especially with a 7pm kick-off between Everton and Manchester United and it would be great if there was a late evening game every weekend. Five games are scheduled for 2pm on Sunday 16th October and it would be better if multiple games were not on at the same time going forward.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea

Aston Villa have ben poor lately with getting fortunate draws against both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest. Aston Villa put in a remarkable performance to get a draw against Manchester City earlier this season and will need to repeat it if they want to get a positive result against Chelsea this weekend. Graham Potter is starting to be effective as Chelsea manager. Chelsea have won their last four games in a row which included beating AC Milan both home and away in Champions League. Score prediction 1-2

Leeds United vs Arsenal

Leeds played very well in their last game and were unlucky to lose against Crystal Palace. Brenden Aaronsen is turning out to be a fantastic signing and Leeds will look to him to shine again this weekend. Arsenal made another statement of intent last weekend with a resillent 3-2 home win against Liverpool. Mikel Arteta has done a fantastic job with The Gunners but it will be a tough game this weekend in front of a hostile crowd at Elland Road. Score prediction 1-2

Manchester United vs Newcastle United

It took 33 attempts for Manchester United to score against Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League at Old Trafford. Manchester United defended well late on to beat Everton last weekend which included a fantastic save by David De Gea. Newcastle have been in fantastic form in front of goal as they have scored nine goals in their last two Premier League games. Eddie Howe is a good manager and it is great to see him doing well in the Premier League. Score prediction 2-1

Southampton vs West Ham United

This game is moved to Sunday due to The Hammers playing Europa Conference League games on a Thursday. Ralph Hasenhuttl is severe pressure after losing four nil to Manchester City. West Ham are looking to win three games in arow after beating both Wolves and Fulham in their last two Premier League games. Score prediction 0-2

Liverpool vs Manchester City

The final game of the weekend has the potential to be a blockbuster. Liverpool are under pressure with currently been 14 points behind Arsenal at the top of the league. Liverpool scored seven against Rangers in midweek but their defensive problems will be questioned again this weekend against Haaland and co. Manchester City will end Liverpool’s pursuit of the Premier League this season if they beat The Reds this weekend. Haaland is looking forward to test Virgil Van Dijk and Man City will have too much especially on the counter attack. Really looking forward to watching this game as Man City are Fabolous to watch especially with having the best midfielder in the world in Kevin De Bruyne. Score prediction 1-3
